Our Mission

It is our responsibility in life to give back to those less fortunate than us.

One of the best gifts that we have in life is the ability to serve and give to others.  To truly LIVE - we must GIVE.

Whenever you purchase an item from Cali'flour Cares, you not only get a great product, but you also gain an amazing opportunity. With the knowledge that you are supporting some of the most deserving non-profit organizations. Each one of these charities has a very special, unique place in my heart. On behalf of them and Cali'flour Foods, we thank you deeply for your support.

23.5 million people suffer from an autoimmune disease.
I am one of them. - Amy Lacey, Cali'Flour Foods

After being diagnosed with Lupus, I realized I needed to change my habits. However, change is not always easy. I quickly realized that if I was going to have long term health and success I would need to make food that was both healthy and tasty! With that in mind, I set out to create food that could be enjoyed by all. I measured the success of the product by my inflammatory reactions and finally came up with healthy and delicious alternatives to some of my favorites! Giving back to the Lupus Foundation hits a very special place in my heart.

In The United States, There Are 25 Million Youth Growing Up Fatherless.

This is a personal tragedy and a collective epidemic.  Children from fatherless homes are more likely to drop out of school, join gangs, become teenage parents and try drugs. The fatherless story is not ending well.  You can make a difference. The money that we donate from the profits of these sales will recruit, train, and match a mentor with a child who needs one.  As a child who desperately needed a mentor growing up - I know the difference that guidance and support can make in a young person's life.

The Apolis market bags that we sell are handcrafted by mothers in Bangladesh who are provided a Fair Trade wage, job security and benefits.

Apolis’ model of “Advocacy Through Industry” is a revolutionary way to harness the power of business to create social change. This model is founded on the simple idea that people can live better lives when they are given equal access to the global marketplace.   I was touched by these hard working women in Bangladesh.  I am proud to support their continued efforts to improve their lives and better their communities.
